ORMOND BEACH, Florida – A former World Wrestling Entertainment superstar has been arrested after an accident in Ormond Beach that killed one person, according to police.

Police said Tamara Lynn Sytch was arrested on Friday following an investigation into the deadly March 25 crash involving three ongoing cars.

The accident happened around 8:28 pm on U.S. Highway 1, north of State Highway 40 and led to the death of Julian Lasseter.

According to police, the two cars involved in the crash were stopped at a red light when a third car, driven by Sytch, failed to stop and collided directly with the rear of one of the stopped cars, forcing it into the other.

Sytch, who was named “Sunny” in the WWE, was taken to Halifax Health Medical Center for treatment after the accident.

According to the report, Sytchu’s blood was taken on a search warrant issued shortly after the crash. Her blood alcohol level was found to be 3 times higher than the legal limit while driving, police said.

Police said Sytch has been charged with several counts, including DUI causing death, causing death while driving with a suspended license, DUI causing personal injury and DUI causing property damage.

Police said this is still an active investigation and more details will be released on Monday.
