WrestleMania Backlash results: Ronda Rousey wins SmackDown Women’s Championship

Ronda Rousey beat Charlotte Flair at WrestleMania 38, only that annoying referee wasn’t knocked in and out during the match, not seeing the SmackDown women’s champion surrender. Rousey solved it? To ensure there were no rules and no judge to step in to save Flair from humiliation, she wanted an “I Quit” match.

And she got it at tonight’s (Sun., May 8, 2022) WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view at the Dunkin ‘Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

He was immediately caught:

Alas, alas.

What followed was complete bullshit battle in which the two fought all over the damn arena, from in the ring to outside of it, to going out among the crowd. Everything has been turned into a weapon, turning the scene into a celebrated traffic wreck, as Michael Cole called it in a commentary.

Rousey locked herself in a bracelet at the corner, literally hanging from the pole over her apron, and it looked like it might be the finish until they both rolled over. Flair got the advantage from there and ended up having Rousey in the Eighth in the ring and maybe that would be the finish? not. “Never, bitch,” Rousey replied when asked for those two words.

Flair adjusted his chair, stepped into the microphone, and said, “This is your last chance … Happy Mother’s Day.” That pulled Rousey out, who put her in the armature through the said chair. That was enough for that.

“I give up.”

Ronda Rousey is the new SmackDown champion for women.
