WrestleMania Backlash results: Bloodline stands high after a great main event

Something like a surprise, especially considering the outcome of the match for the women’s championship SmackDown, WWE put The Bloodline against RK-Bro & Drew McIntyre in tonight’s main event (Sun, May 8, 2022) WrestleMania Backlash pay-per-view from Dunkin ‘Donuts Center in Providence, Rhode Island.

Well, it’s Roman Reigns, maybe not so much a surprise.

But it was also RK-Bro, who is done with how much the team can get right now. Randy Orton, in particular, is doing amazing things that still drive the audience crazy. Here he once again impressed multiple RWCs out of nowhere who felt legitimately exciting because they were just that, with the help of Michael Cole in part who went so crazy for them.

It turned into one of those old Shield duels with six, where everything breaks down and everyone disappears at some point, just wild bursts of action from one guy to the next guy to the guy you forgot to bring down the guy who just got back. Bodies were everywhere!

See?!?

In the end, Riddle and Jey Uso were in the middle of one hell of a fight when Riddle got the best out of it all with a big RKO from the top. But when he got up, Reigns was there with the spear and it worked.

The bloodline stands high again.

That was fun!
