On Friday, the Wisconsin Badgers added their second action in the 2023 recruiting class, and offensive line player James Durand announced his intentions via social media.
In search of additional players to add to the class, the Wisconsin coaching staff has expanded two new scholarships to younger potential players over the past few days.
The first offer came to Fredrick Moore of Saint Louis from Cardinal Ritter Preparatory College.
The 6-foot recipient also has scholarship opportunities in Arkansas, Boston College, Duke, Indiana, Iowa, Iowa State, Kansas, Maryland, Michigan, Michigan State, Minnesota, Nebraska, Penn State, Rutgers, Texas A&M, Vanderbilt and West Virginia.
Both Rivals and 247 Sports rank Moore as a three-star perspective, but his film and list of offers look like a potential four-star recruit.
Fast-growing prospects on the trail of recruiting, Moore was the first team in the All-Conference selection last season as he had 41 admissions for just over 1,000 yards and 12 touchdowns. A dynamic athlete with the ball in his hands, Moore added three touchdowns in return.
Moore’s junior film portrays a player with tremendous speed and ability to play after the catch, making it a potentially significant addition if Wisconsin can take a step in its recruitment.

On Saturday, another offer arrived from the expert staff, this time on the defensive line.
Jamel Howard of Chicago took to Twitter after receiving an offer from defensive line coach Ross Kolodzie.

With 6 feet-3 and £ 320, Marist High School stands out as a real hit in the Wisconsin 3-4 defense, and he’s another intriguing option for the Badgers.
The state of Illinois followed suit by offering Howard moments after Wisconsin, and as things stand, these are probably the leading schools under discussion. The Badgers and Illini joined Akron, Ball State, Central Michigan, Iowa State, Kent State, Miami (OH), Toledo, Western Kentucky and Western Michigan in the race for his services.
Interfering with the stopper in the run, Howard quickly kicked the ball out and seemed to fit well into the Wisconsin defense system.
