On Tuesday morning, retrograde Mercury begins in Gemini and you can feel like nothing is going smoothly. Talking to your friends ends in conflict, or your plans are constantly thwarted, or you just can’t get the project you’re developing work. Right now, the key is to slow down. Give yourself and others permission to be ineffective. Anyone could take advantage of some extra grace, at least until June 3, when this retrograde period ends. Then on Tuesday night, Jupiter, the planet of happiness, enters the cheeky Aries, where it will remain until October. Although overconfidence may pose a risk during this time (Jupiter’s enthusiastic nature could reinforce Aries ’reckless side), it is more likely that a healthy belief in oneself will be rewarded.

You acknowledge the need to adapt to the world that really exists. The conditions are not ideal, but we all need to keep living, so you can make it easier for yourself. However, at some point you no longer want to twist. This week, when you get to that point, remember you have other options available. You can get out of situations you don’t want to live with. You can stay and, instead of just bending down, answer – build the life and relationships you long for. Your dissatisfaction will go away, but not until you decide to create something better.

When the future looks particularly bleak (as it is now), it’s tempting to store resources you think you’ll need later, even if you can use them now. Instead of using your power, save it for a rainy day. Instead of calling on your friends for support, you stifle your demands in case your later needs are even greater. But this week it is better to be fully involved in the world as it is now. Don’t wait for the perfect moment to unleash your strength or ask for help. Friendships become stronger, not weaker, when you seek and offer support.

If someone is trying to pressure you to make a quick decision by inventing a sense of urgency, ask yourself if your best interest is in your heart or just your own. What’s more, keep an eye on it this week your do not put undue pressure on yourself. Certain decisions are, of course, urgent. But not all. If you’ve been dreaming about greatly changing your life, you don’t have to rush it. You can weigh your options and make a plan. No matter how much you worry you have to act now or neveryou probably have time to think.

It is important to try a new personality, new habits from time to time. Only by testing different ways of speaking, dressing or moving do we find out which ones work best. Acting bolder or cooler or more impressive than you feel can help you see how great your ability to be all of these things is. This week, remember that you can experiment without a lifelong commitment. There is nothing wrong with starting a new path and then deciding that it is not for you. You are allowed to change your mind and change your mind again.

You usually quickly study the dynamics of power in any space you enter, whether it is a meeting room or a dining room. When you know how to read a room, unfamiliar spaces become familiar. You know exactly where you are going to stop. This week, however, some of the usual signs may let you down. People can play against a guy, act out of order, surprise you. Do not look at it as a weakness of your perceptual abilities, but as a lesser miracle. If they can escape the roles assigned to them by other people or society as a whole, maybe you can too.

You are someone who rarely makes a commitment that you don’t honor. You only apply for a job that you are truly capable of, you only enter into friendships and relationships that you sincerely want to be in. And that is why it is frustrating when others move around the world differently, exaggerate their abilities, resell their true will to give. This week, it’s important to remember that you don’t have to take everyone at their word. Words are powerful, but they are not enough in themselves. If someone says he is on your side, you may demand that he prove it by deeds.

You are adept at using words and persuasion to resolve conflict, even to avoid it altogether. It is a valuable skill and it is wise to apply it when you can. But occasionally, your words just turn out to be wrong, or the people you are trying to reach close their ears and refuse to listen. This week, if your usual tactics don’t work at the level you’re used to, don’t take that as a sign that you’re suddenly powerless. Instead, take this as an opportunity to try something new.

Lately, you feel a complicated retreat and retreat between your desires for emotional closeness and independence. Some of you crave intimacy with others, while others find you almost unbearable. Maybe this feeling is related to romance, maybe friendship, maybe one of so many possible forms of human relationship. You crave a relationship, but you also have to keep your privacy, your solitude. The existence of these competing instincts in you sometimes makes you fear that you are off. Unfit for love. But that is not true. Human intimacy is weird and often embarrassing, but that doesn’t mean you don’t deserve it, in whatever unique form for you.

Lately, it’s hard to believe that your actions have a measurable impact on the world. From your perspective, events continue to unfold beyond your control, times are constantly changing, and the people in power are doing their best to make life bitter for almost everyone else. How can your own little efforts compete? But you’re still working hard, and this week you might notice that those efforts have finally borne fruit. When positive change happens, don’t imagine it’s solely in luck. It’s also the result of seeds you’ve planted a long time ago, a job you’ve been doing all along.

You know intellectually that perfection is unattainable, but you still appreciate his aspiration. The pursuit of excellence is the way you grow, the way you learn, the way you expand the edges of the possible. This week, however, even maintaining the illusion of achievable perfection can be frustratingly unattainable. The world always reminds you of your clutter, the extent to which even your best efforts can fail. If that happens, you can fight even harder or you can accept the mess, at least for now, and enjoy your humanity.

There are people in the world who are constantly taking advantage of your natural tendency to be strict with yourself. They constantly promote the idea that a virtuous life requires a distraction from everything that is easy, pleasant, sweet. If you want to be goodyou have to constantly feel bad. But in fact, you are trying to improve the world for yourself and others out of a desire to cultivate joy, determination and connection – not to destroy suffering. It is your duty not to be pure, but to be human. And while that sometimes means doing what’s hard, sometimes it just means doing what feels good.

When you talk, don’t do it just to hear your own voice; it is important for you to express the truth, to share your ideas, to connect with the people around you. That means it’s a little more frustrating than misinterpreting your words. The problem is that this week it will be impossible to make everyone fully understand you at all times. And it will be frustrating, of course, but if you allow it, it can also be liberating. Someone will misunderstand you, no matter what you do or say, so you could do what you want.

Longer version: Jupiter is all about excess, so it reinforces both the positive and negative aspects of the sign in which it is located. Because self-confidence is a quality of Aries, Jupiter in Aries risks overconfidence.
