USFL Week 4: Stallions defeat the Bandits to stay undefeated

Saturday night was Fireworks Night in USFLand sparks flew like on Birmingham Stallions to win Bandits from Tampa Bay 16-10 at the Protective Stadium.

The Stallions (4-0) are now the only remaining undefeated team in the league. The Bandits, meanwhile, have fallen to 2-2 this season.

Here are the top performances.

Birmingham Stallions 16, Tampa Bay Bandits 10

The goal started in the first quarter with a goal from Tyler Rause’s game and brought Tampa Bay to a 3-0 lead.

With 1:25 by the end of the first half, Alex McGough scored the first touchdown in a quarterback sneak game, bringing Birmingham to a 6-3 lead. Brandon Aubrey’s extra point increased 7-3.

Birmingham’s lead didn’t last long as Tampa Bay quarterback Jordan Ta’amu found Rashard Davis in the back end zone for a nine-yard pass. Rauše’s point was then sent by Bandite at half-time with a 10-7 lead.

Birmingham opened the second half with a goal by Aubrey from the game and tied at 10-10.

Aubrey continued to show the strength of his leg with a goal from a 49-yard game and brought Birmingham to a 13-10 lead with 3:40 in the third quarter.

Three more points from Aubrey’s feet increased the lead to 16-10.
