The second episode of the new series Star Trek: Strange New Worlds finally arrives this week and we have details, new photos and a clip to get you started.
“Children of the Comet”
The Strange new worlds The series premieres an episode called “Children of the Comet.” The episode was written by co-showrunner Henry Alonso Myers and Sarah Tarkoff. It was directed by Maja Vrvilo. The episode debuts on Paramount + on Thursday, May 12th.
While on a research mission, the USS Enterprise discovers that the comet will hit an inhabited planet. They try to redirect the comet, only to discover that an ancient alien relic buried on the ice surface of the comet is somehow stopping them. As the visiting team tries to uncover the secret relics, Pike and Number One deal with a group of fanatics who want to prevent USS Enterprise from interfering.

New episodes Star Trek: Strange New Worlds debut Thursdays exclusively at Paramount + in the US, Latin America, Australia and the Nordic countries. The series is broadcast on the CTV Sci-Fi channel Bell Media and broadcasts on Crave in Canada. In New Zealand it is available on TVNZ, and in India on Voot Select. Strange new worlds will arrive via Paramount + to select countries in Europe when the service launches later this year, starting with the United Kingdom and Ireland in June.
