Sony Michel is signing a contract with dolphins, according to the report

Three months after winning his second Super Bowl ring, free agent Sony Michel reportedly decided to bring his talents back to his home country.

Michel, 27, is expected to sign an undisclosed contract with Dolphins, according to Ian Rapoport of the NFL. The Orlando native led the Rams in assault yards in 2021 and played a key role during the team’s triumphant triumph until the LVI Super Bowl.

Drawn in 31st place overall in 2018, Michel arrived in LA after the Patriots replaced the Super Bowl champion LIII in August in exchange for the 2022 rounds and sixth rounds elections. After seeing limited touches in the first 12 weeks, his playing time increased dramatically after starter Darrell Henderson fell due to a thigh injury.
