Roman Reigns is very teasing about his future at a live event in Trenton

Roman Reigns stunned fans at last night’s WWE live event in Trenton by making a big joke about his future.

Reigns, the current WWE universal champion, is the biggest star in the company. Tonight he is ready to compete in a team match with six players at WrestleMania Backlash.

Last night, Reigns met Drew McIntyre at the WWE Trenton Saturday Night’s Main Event. After defeating the Scottish Warrior, the tribal chief gave an honest speech, as he usually does at live events.

In the final moments of his speech, Reigns said something that left fans in the arena speechless:

“I’ve been here a lot of times, you know what I’m saying? I’ve been here a few times in the last 10 years. And I’m starting to work at a new stage in my career, and I honestly don’t know if I’ll come back here again. If that’s the case, I just want you say thank you for all these years of support. ” (from 1:38 to 2:02)

Roman Reigns has been a mainstay of WWE for more than ten years

Roman Reigns debuted on the WWE Main List in late 2012 on the Survivor Series. He appeared as part of The Shield alongside Dean Ambrose and Seth Rollins. The stable chased WWE’s top babyface for about two years before Rollins released The Shield, disbanding the group.

After the split, Reigns received the largest retreat of three Shield members. He advanced to the main tournament of four consecutive WrestleMania against some of the biggest stars in WWE history.

At SummerSlam 2020, WWE did what fans have been looking for for years: turning the Reigns heel. He soon aligned himself with Paul Heyman and won the universal title at Payback 2020. Reigns has consistently been the best WWE player in the last two years. He recently defeated Brock Lesnar at ‘Mania 38’ and became the undisputed universal champion of the WWE.

Reigns has previously hinted at a future in Hollywood:

“We will have to see. I think there will be some moves here soon. There is always speculation and talk of contracts, it’s all my business. People who can dive deep enough, I’m sure they can turn enough rocks to understand the time frame. ” (V / T: Wrestlinginc)

As soon as Roman Reigns mentioned a new phase in his career, the crowd of capacity at Trenton was stunned (check the 1:53 mark on the clip).
