National Science Foundation (NSF) Student Summit Program 2022

Applications are open for the National Science Foundation (NSF) 2022 Student Program Summit Program. Each year, Trusted CI organizes and hosts the NSF Cybersecurity Summit to bring together leaders in the NSF Cyber ​​Security and Cyber ​​Infrastructure. To support the development of the workforce, the Summit organizers invite several students each year to attend the Summit free of charge.

The National Science Foundation (NSF) Cyber ​​Security Summit 2022 brings together leaders in NSF cyber infrastructure and cyber security to continue building a confidential, collaborative community and addressing the community’s key cyber security challenges.


  • Up to fifteen successful registered students will receive invitations to participate in the Summit free of charge.


  • Undergraduate and graduate students can also apply, no special field or field of study is required, as long as the student is interested in learning and applying cyber security innovations in scientific endeavors.
  • Students can nominate themselves or be nominated by a mentor or teacher.


The application deadline is August 1, 2022, and notification of acceptance should be sent by August 10, 2022.

The most successful candidates will…

  • Be prepared to get actively involved and participate in programming.
  • Let them know that they are interested in the complex needs of cyber security and new, effective, efficient ways to protect information assets with the support of science, even if they are new to the subject – let the program committee know why you are interested in this topic; and
  • Communicate at least 1-3 personal goals that you would strive to achieve while on top.

Highlighting these interests in the application will allow the review board to understand why the student thinks he or she will be most appropriate to attend the conference.
