Celebrating the release of Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness, Mondo continues the MCU soundtrack series and immortalizes the film’s vinyl score – and it looks just as amazing as it sounds.
The double LP set, available for pre-order on May 11, might be worth adding to your collection just for Florian Bertmer’s artwork. It depicts Dr. Strange sitting in front of a stained glass-like background full of bright oranges and blood-reds.
If you saw Dr. Strange in the multiverse of madness by now you already know that this is a visually stunning film thanks in part to the direction of Sam Raimi and his visual effects. However, the visuals of the film are not the only thing worth noting. The film’s score is also incredibly dynamic.
In fact, ours movie review says that “Multiverse of Madness is worth the price of entry just to hear the score and see them in action.” Between a soundtrack and a work of art, these records would be a worthy addition to the collection of any Marvel fan.
The music for the film was written by the legendary Danny Elfman who worked together with director Sam Raimi of Darkman in 1990. In the new film Doctor Strange, the duo reunites for the first time in almost ten years. Their collaboration on the original Spider-Man the trilogy helped make superhero films perfect into what they are today.
The soundtrack from Marvel Studios for Doctor Strange in the Multiverse of Madness is imprinted on two 180-gram Mondo Exclusive color LPs. It will also be available on black vinyl. Both can be pre-booked at MondoShop.com on Wednesday, May 11 for $ 40.
