Recruiting at Auburn continues to bring them into play with several key recruits, including Lincoln quarterback Roderick Robinson II.
Born in San Diego, California, he released a video in which he named his six best schools. He included the Auburn Tigers, Oregon Ducks, Cal Bears, Tennesee Walls, UCLA Bruins and Arizona Wildcats.
He announced his nine best schools on March 18, and Auburn was not in the category. This shows that Bryan Harsin and Auburn coaching staff continue to search for goals even when there is a chance they are beyond that.
Robinson wrote in his tweet:
I want to thank every coach who hired me throughout this process. It is truly a blessing to be offered by so many great universities. Here are my final 6.
Robinson is listed at 6 feet-1,230 pounds. Auburn offered 3 stars on March 31st. The latest action in Robinson’s recruitment was an unofficial visit to Tennessee Vols on May 6th.
In 2021, the run back ran 1,273 yards and scored 17 touchdowns on the ground in 185 holders. He also caught six passes for 52 yards.
Auburn will seek to add Robinson as another member of the 2023 class. The Tigers currently have two members of their 2023 class. Offensive lineman Bradyn Joiner and defensive back Terrance Love were the first two rookies to dedicate themselves to Harsin and Auburn’s coaching staff.
